About energy basics....

We create or allow our reality. We create or allow all of it--the major events, crises and successes of life, all their consequences, even the tiniest details of daily existence.
We do this through our conscious, subconscious and unconscious beliefs, thoughts and feelings, attitudes, choices and decisions. What we desire, imagine and expect manifests this consciousness.
Learning to consciously choose and manifest, and thus creating all our reality knowingly, is one of the most essential purposes of human life. Throughout life we are programmed with beliefs which limit our ability to create the realities which we would choose. These beliefs persist until they are recognized and changed to bring about the experiences which we desire. The ability to freely feel and experience the emotions which are part of living, is a necessary part of the healing process.

The ability to assist others to find and change unwanted limiting beliefs is one of the professional skills of the practitioners at BALANCE, using EFT. 
EFT is a powerful new discovery that combines two well established sciences so you can benefit from both at the same time: Mind Body Medicine and Acupuncture (without needles). In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture wherein we stimulate certain meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips. This addresses a new cause for emotional issues (unbalanced energy meridians). Properly done, this frequently reduces the therapeutic process from months or years down to hours or minutes. And, since emotional stress can contribute to pain, disease and physical ailments, we often find that EFT provides astonishing physical relief. Until recently, however, it has gone unnoticed by the psychotherapy profession. This is true even though energy related procedures have now been clinically demonstrated thousands of times to dramatically reduce the sting of traumatic memories, grief, anger, phobias and almost any emotional ailment you can name. Further, it is usually rapid, long lasting and relatively gentle. It often works where nothing else will. We invite you to learn this technique for yourself at one of our workshops.

BREATH STRESS RELIEF

Here's a great technique to apply when you are feeling a bit stressed. Apply it anywhere. It only takes a minute.
Close your eyes. Imagine that you are in a safe and comfortable place.
Breath in deeply through your nose. Hold it for 2 counts. Breath out through your mouth. Breath in peace through your nose as you tense your neck and facial muscles, hold it for a few seconds and then breath out tension, through your mouth, as you relax. Now as you breath in tranquillity through your nose, tense your back, arms, chest and stomach. Now relax them as you exhale frustration, through your mouth. Inhale harmony through your nose. Tense your buttock, legs and feet. Exhale anger through your mouth. Feel completely relaxed and safe.

Repeat this once or twice more if you want to. You will immediately feel the difference as your tension dissipates. You will feel more relaxed and ready to overcome the next challenge.
